How to choose the right LASFIT liner
-
Check bed length first
Your truck bed length determines which liner fits. The LASFIT 5.5ft TPE Bed Mat is designed specifically for 5.5ft beds. If you own a 2024 to 2027 Ford F-150 with this bed size, this option covers the floor area effectively. Verify your exact bed measurement before purchasing. Using a liner meant for a different bed size can leave exposed areas vulnerable to damage. Correct sizing ensures complete protection for your cargo space and prevents shifting during transport.
-
Consider tailgate protection
If you frequently load heavy items, consider tailgate coverage. The LASFIT 5.5ft Bed Tailgate Mat addresses this need directly. It measures 22.4 inches in length and 19.7 inches in width. This specific footprint is ideal for 2021 to 2023 Ford F-150 models with standard tailgates. It provides a waterproof barrier for bare or spray-in lined beds. This helps prevent scratches and moisture damage on the tailgate surface, extending the life of your truck's finish.
-
Verify model year compatibility
Not all liners fit every model year. The top-rated TPE Bed Mat supports 2024 to 2027 Ford F-150s. The tailgate mat is listed for 2021 to 2023 models. You must match your vehicle's production year to the product specifications. Ford may make subtle changes to bed contours or tailgate geometry over time. Checking the year ensures the liner sits flush without gaps. This prevents water pooling and ensures the mat stays in place while you drive.
-
Review physical dimensions
Compare the physical dimensions of the liner to your bed space. The floor mat spans 31.5 inches by 22.8 inches. The tailgate mat covers 22.4 inches by 19.7 inches. These measurements define the protected area. Ensure these dimensions align with your actual bed interior. A proper fit prevents the liner from sliding or bunching up. Accurate measurements help you visualize how much surface area is covered and whether the liner extends to the edges you need to protect.
-
Assess material durability
The material type affects longevity and maintenance. The top pick uses TPE construction, known for durability. This material offers waterproof protection for the bed carpet. It resists wear from cargo movement. You get simple, reliable coverage without complex installation. TPE materials often withstand temperature changes well. This makes them suitable for various weather conditions. Consider how you use your truck. Heavy tool loads or wet gear require robust, easy-to-clean materials for long-term protection.
