You might be looking for mostplus quad fold soft 5 8 alternatives if the original cover does not fit your specific truck bed. The MOSTPLUS Quad Fold Soft 5.8 ft is a durable soft cover made with double-sided tear-resistant vinyl and aluminum frames. It provides waterproof and UV-resistant protection for 2019-2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models with standard Fleetside beds. Its quad-fold design allows for partial bed access while maintaining stability with four horizontal crossbars.
However, you may need a different size, installation method, or brand. Some owners prefer a no-drill setup, while others require covers for older truck models or different bed lengths. The alternatives in this list were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original product. We focused on covers that share the soft structure and quad-fold style. This guide compares 6 options to help you find a tonneau cover that matches your exact bed dimensions and installation preferences.
How the alternatives compare to the original
MOSTPLUS 6.5 ft Quad-Fold Soft Cover
This cover targets 2014-2019 Silverado 1500 models with 6.5-foot beds, whereas the original fits 2019-2026 trucks with 5.8-foot beds. You get the same quad-fold soft construction and UV-resistant vinyl, but the frame length changes to match the larger bed. This model uses model M32201-1 and is designed for Fleetside configurations. If your truck has a longer bed, this is the correct size match. It maintains the easy installation profile of the original, though you must ensure your specific year and bed type align with its 6.5-foot specification. It is not compatible with the 5.8-foot bed size of the original product.
MOSTPLUS 6.5 ft Soft Quad-Fold Tonneau
Designed for older 1988-2007 Chevy and GMC trucks, this cover differs significantly in vehicle compatibility compared to the original, which fits 2019-2026 models. It also covers 6.5-foot Fleetside beds, so it does not fit the 5.8-foot size of the original. The construction remains a soft quad-fold design with durable vinyl and aluminum frames. A key difference is the installation method; this version requires no drilling, offering a simpler setup than some original models that may need drill holes. If you drive an older Silverado or Sierra with a standard bed, this is a suitable alternative that avoids permanent modifications while providing similar weather protection.
Aeagle Soft Quad Fold 6.5ft
The Aeagle Soft Quad Fold serves older 1999-2006 Silverado or Sierra trucks with 6.5-foot Fleetside beds, unlike the original which fits newer 2019-2026 models with 5.8-foot beds. It shares the soft, quad-fold structure and no-drill installation approach, making it user-friendly. The primary difference is the fitment; it is not compatible with the 5.8-foot bed size. It offers a budget-friendly alternative for owners of older trucks who need basic cargo protection. The material and folding mechanism provide similar access and durability, but the specific dimensions and year range make it exclusive to the older truck generations and longer bed configurations.
WHALEMOTOR 6.6 ft Soft Quad-Fold Tonneau Cover
This WHALEMOTOR cover is built for standard 6.6-foot beds on 2007-2019 2500/3500 and 2007-2026 1500 trucks, differing from the original’s 5.8-foot fitment. It features a soft quad-fold design with tool-free installation, which may be easier than the original if your model requires drilling. The black vinyl and aluminum frame construction is comparable, but the bed size is larger. It provides partial bed access when folded. If you own a heavier-duty truck or a model with a longer bed, this cover is the appropriate choice. It does not fit the 5.8-foot Fleetside beds of the original product, so verify your bed length before considering this alternative.
OEDRO Soft Quad-Fold 5.8 ft
The OEDRO Soft Quad-Fold fits 2007-2013 Silverado 1500 trucks with 5.8-foot Fleetside beds, matching the original’s bed size but targeting older model years. It is a manual soft cover with a width of 20.5 inches and a height of 5.51 inches. Unlike the original, which may require drilling for some models, this version is designed for straightforward installation without complex tools. The construction uses durable materials similar to the original, offering reliable cargo protection. It is a sturdy option for owners of older Silverados who need a cover that folds for access. The specific fitment for 2007-2013 models distinguishes it from the original’s compatibility with newer 2019-2026 trucks.
YITAMOTOR Soft Quad-Fold 5.8ft Cover
YITAMOTOR offers a soft quad-fold cover for 5.8-foot beds, similar in size to the original, but it is designed for easier tool-free installation. The dimensions are slightly different, with a width of 19.9 inches and a height of 5.31 inches. It targets Silverado 1500 owners who prioritize quick setup over absolute weather sealing. The black vinyl and aluminum frame construction is comparable to the original’s durable materials. However, it may not provide the same level of security or weather resistance as the original’s double-sided tear-resistant vinyl. If you need a cover for a 5.8-foot bed that installs quickly without drilling, this is a practical alternative, though it fits a slightly different year range.
