Comparing Alternatives to Whalemotor
RHOBRA Soft Roll-Up 6.4ft Bed Cover
The RHOBRA Soft Roll-Up targets the same 6.4-foot bed but specifies fitment for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 models. This narrower year range distinguishes it from the Whalemotor cover, which supports older 2002-2018 trucks and 2019-2026 Classic editions. If your truck falls outside the 2009-2018 window, the RHOBRA unit may not fit. Both use a soft roll-up structure for easy access. You should choose RHOBRA if your vehicle matches its specific year range precisely. It offers similar weather resistance and tool-free installation. The model code PR-TNC-DG-RM-0918-63 identifies this specific compatibility. It is a practical swap for owners of mid-range year Dodge Rams who want a dedicated fit rather than a broader universal solution.
Toptiny Soft Roll-Up for 6' 4" Dodge Ram
Toptiny focuses on the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 beds without Ram Box. This excludes the older Classic models and heavy-duty 2500/3500 trucks supported by the Whalemotor cover. If you own a newer Ram 1500, this is a better fit. It provides durable vinyl protection and secure locking mechanisms. The Whalemotor cover lacks specific locking details in its specs. Toptiny is ideal for newer trucks needing a snug fit without Ram Box interference. It shares the soft roll-up style for quick access. However, it does not work with your older truck or heavy-duty models. Choose this if your vehicle is a recent 1500 without Ram Box. It offers tailored security for modern bed designs while maintaining the convenience of a soft cover.
AUTOSAVER88 6.4 ft Soft Roll-Up
The AUTOSAVER88 6.4 ft Soft Roll-Up provides exact dimensions: 75.6 inches long, 9.74 inches wide, and 5.12 inches high. The Whalemotor cover lists 76.3 inches for the bed size but lacks specific rail dimensions. These measurements help you verify clearance in your truck bed. AUTOSAVER88 suits owners prioritizing straightforward installation and weather resistance. It is a solid budget choice for standard 6.4-foot beds. The soft roll-up design allows easy access. You should pick this if you need precise fitment data before buying. It offers similar durability and tool-free setup. The model MAAUT1ZDmf identifies this specific variant. It is a practical alternative for those who want verified dimensions for a secure fit.
Perfit Liner 6.4 ft Soft Roll-Up
Perfit Liner is designed for the New Body Style Ram 1500 (2019-2026). This excludes older Classic models and heavy-duty trucks supported by Whalemotor. It uses durable PVC material for weather resistance. The cover measures 76.4 inches long, 9.84 inches wide, and 5.12 inches high. These dimensions differ slightly from the Whalemotor 76.3-inch bed size. It offers tool-free installation for easy setup. Choose Perfit Liner if you own a new body style Ram 1500. It provides a snug fit for modern trucks. The soft roll-up structure ensures quick bed access. It sacrifices hard-shell security for convenience. This is a targeted solution for newer trucks needing a reliable, easy-to-install cover.
OEDRO Soft Roll-Up 6.4ft Bed Tonneau Cover
The OEDRO Soft Roll-Up weighs 25.6 pounds. The Whalemotor cover does not list a weight. This weight helps you assess handling during installation. OEDRO fits 6.4-foot beds and uses UV-resistant PVC material. It offers easy manual roll-up access for daily utility. The cover measures 75.2 inches long, 9.84 inches wide, and 5.12 inches high. These dimensions are slightly shorter than the Whalemotor bed size. It is a no-frills option for Ram owners. Choose OEDRO if you value straightforward utility over advanced features. It provides solid weather resistance and tool-free installation. The model MAOA-0018 identifies this specific variant. It is a practical choice for drivers prioritizing durability and ease of use.
Aurorasters 6.4 ft Soft Roll-Up
