The WHALEMOTOR 6.6 ft Soft Roll-Up Silverado Cover offers tool-free installation and broad fitment for 2007-2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks. It provides weather-resistant protection for your cargo with a simple roll-up design. If you are searching for whalemotor truck bed tonneau cover alternatives, you may need different specifications for your specific bed size or truck year.
You might want another option if your truck has a Fleetside bed, requires a 6.5 ft size, or needs stricter waterproofing. We selected 6 similar picks because their published specs overlap with the original product. This list includes soft roll-up covers for various Silverado and Sierra models. Each alternative focuses on practical features like clamp installation, durable materials, and secure fitment. You can compare these options to find the best match for your vehicle's dimensions and usage needs.
How alternatives compare to Whalemotor
Aurorasters Soft Roll-Up 6.6 ft
Aurorasters targets 2019-2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 models with standard steel beds. Unlike the WHALEMOTOR cover, which fits older 2007-2019 HD trucks, this option is specific to newer 1500 series trucks. It uses a soft roll-up structure similar to the original but focuses on full bed access for these specific years. You get a black finish and a model labeled TBC021-softroll-6.6. If you own a newer 1500 and do not need the broader HD compatibility of the WHALEMOTOR cover, this provides a dedicated fit. It prioritizes ease of installation and durability for daily hauling on standard beds.
Aeagle Soft Roll-Up for 6.6ft Silverado
Aeagle specifies compatibility with 2019-2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 fleetside beds only. The WHALEMOTOR cover supports a wider range, including HD trucks and earlier model years. Aeagle uses a double PVC tarp and a three-rod frame for stability. This structure offers a different feel compared to the standard soft roll-up of the WHALEMOTOR. The Aeagle model AETRD030-CY1923 is designed strictly for fleetside configurations. If your truck has a fleetside bed and you prefer the rigidity of a three-rod frame over the simpler clamping system of the WHALEMOTOR, this is a suitable alternative. It lacks the HD truck fitment found in the original.
ILONPA 6.6 ft Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover
ILONPA claims waterproof status, whereas the WHALEMOTOR cover is described as weather-resistant. This distinction matters if you need stronger protection against water ingress. ILONPA fits 2014-2019 Silverado and Sierra Fleetside beds, covering a different year range than the WHALEMOTOR’s 2007-2026 scope. It uses a soft roll-up structure and installs without tools, matching the original’s convenience. The model BUTRD028S is tailored for Fleetside beds specifically. If you own a 2014-2019 truck and require waterproofing rather than just weather resistance, ILONPA offers a targeted solution. It sacrifices the broader year compatibility of the WHALEMOTOR for specialized protection.
Youxmoto 6.6ft Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover
Youxmoto covers 2019-2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 fleetside beds with a 6.6ft soft roll-up design. The WHALEMOTOR cover extends compatibility to older models and HD trucks, which Youxmoto does not support. Youxmoto focuses on reliable weather protection for newer trucks. It uses a soft structure and black color, similar to the original. The model YXTRD030TRC is sized at 6.6ft or 79.2 inches. If you have a newer 1500 fleetside truck and do not need the extensive fitment range of the WHALEMOTOR, this provides a straightforward alternative. It simplifies the choice by focusing on recent model years and fleetside beds.
Amazon Basics 6.5 ft Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover
Amazon Basics offers a 6.5 ft soft roll-up cover for 2014-2019 Silverado and Sierra 1500 Fleetside beds. This size is slightly shorter than the WHALEMOTOR’s 6.6 ft coverage. The Amazon Basics model DS-SKM0459 weighs 26.3 pounds and measures 77.6 inches in length. It provides water resistance and easy access without complex installation. The WHALEMOTOR cover fits a broader range of years and includes HD trucks. If you prefer a lighter, simpler option for a 2014-2019 Fleetside bed, Amazon Basics is a practical choice. It gives up the extended year compatibility and slightly larger bed coverage of the WHALEMOTOR.
MOSTPLUS 6.5ft Roll-Up Soft Cover
MOSTPLUS uses a vinyl material with an aluminum frame, differing from the fabric-based soft roll-up of the WHALEMOTOR. It offers IP68 waterproofing, which is a higher rating than the weather-resistant claim of the original. The model M44200 fits 6.5 ft beds on Fleetside Silverado and Sierra trucks. It includes a built-in light, a feature not mentioned for the WHALEMOTOR. MOSTPLUS is ideal if you prioritize waterproofing and the durability of an aluminum frame over the simpler soft fabric design. It sacrifices the broader year compatibility of the WHALEMOTOR for specialized protection and enhanced features like the light.
